CVW's Thunder PRO-Duo Conquers River Live-Stream Challenges

On October 26th, along the Badong section of the Yangtze River, with the Wu Gorge peaks as a backdrop and vibrant red leaves covering the mountains, 481 winter swimmers plunged into the emerald waters. On the 1200-meter course, orange and yellow swimwear traced dynamic arcs – the 2025 Badong "Crossing the Three Gorges ? Swimming in Shennong Stream" Winter Swimming Invitational officially commenced! This fifth edition of the event again ignited passion in the river gorge, attracting over 1 million online viewers through its live broadcast.

Strong river winds and electromagnetic interference were once the natural enemies of live streams. Yet, this year's roaming cameras followed the action seamlessly: **CVW's Thunder PRO-Duo** system (paired with a custom fiberglass antenna, extending transmission range to 3000 meters) shouldered the critical task. Utilizing 3000-meter wireless transmission combined with a 5G backpack, and leveraging H.265 encoding/decoding with superior anti-interference capabilities, it delivered real-time HD footage of the swimmers' strokes and sprints directly to the broadcast vehicle.

"It felt like sitting right beside the competitors!" Over 40,000 viewers on the "Cloud Badong" APP flooded the comments, while close-up splash shots on the converged media Douyin account received countless likes.

Ultra-Long Range, Rock-Solid Stability:

Across the vast and unpredictable river surface, the Thunder PRO-Duo provided stable wireless transmission up to 3000 meters, ensuring roaming cameras maintained solid HD signal lock throughout the course.

5G Enhanced, Low-Latency Backhaul:

Leveraging the high speed and low latency of the 5G backpack, captured HD footage was transmitted back to the riverside broadcast vehicle almost instantly, achieving near-zero delay.

Complex Environments, Mastered with Ease:

Whether confronting signal reflection from river surface moisture or potential interference from passing vessels, this combined solution demonstrated exceptional anti-interference capability and environmental adaptability.

This successful broadcast was more than a sports competition. It represented a model of technology empowering the integration of culture, tourism, and sports. It shattered the spatial barriers of traditional aquatic event streaming, allowing the spirit of perseverance within stunning yet challenging scenery to be conveyed most authentically and rapidly to every viewer.

This is technology's true purpose – becoming an invisible bridge that connects the venue to the audience, ensuring courage is witnessed and endeavor remembered.
