On July 12th, the final of the 2026 National Modern Pentathlon Obstacle Run League (100 meters) officially kicked off. The obstacle running event was fast-paced, with athletes sprinting at high speed and constantly changing positions. Metal trusses were densely arranged on the field, and surrounding residential buildings blocked the view. At the same time, walkie-talkies, aerial photography, and multiple wireless filming equipment were all in operation simultaneously, creating a crowded and complex electromagnetic environment. This posed extremely high demands on the stability of the wireless transmission of the mobile camera positions.
For this event, the mobile camera positions were all operated by theThunder PRO-Duosystem for follow-up shooting. The cameraman carried the entire transmission equipment and followed the contestants along the track for manual shooting. In the harsh and challenging environment with numerous obstructions and dense interference sources, they continuously transmitted live footage back.
Facing the complex competition arena, the capabilities of the Thunder pro-Duo are fully demonstrated.
The core advantage of the Thunder Series wireless transmission system lies in its ability to handle various complex shooting environments, featuring strong anti-interference capabilities and excellent non-line-of-sight penetration performance. In the face of numerous metal structures and buildings in the competition venue, as well as the frequency spectrum interference caused by numerous wireless devices, Thunder PRO-Duo effectively reduces signal fluctuations, lag, and disconnections, ensuring the continuous smoothness of the mobile shooting link.
1.Super strong penetration, unafraid of obstructions
Thunder PRO-Duo features excellent penetration and non-line-of-sight transmission capabilities. Even if the camera position is blocked by walls, metal frames or crowds, the signal remains stable, allowing the cameraman to freely move and follow the subject.
2. Two video streams occupy only one channel.
In a scenario with crowded spectrum resources, Thunder PRO-Duo can handle two video transmissions using just one channel, significantly reducing interference between devices and enabling simultaneous use of two systems, allowing multiple camera positions to work cooperatively without conflicts.
3. H.265 + 1080p 60 high-definition quality
Using H.265 encoding and decoding, it can still output a clear 1080p60 picture even in complex environments. The explosive moments and subtle movements of the contestants as they overcome obstacles are all vividly depicted.
4. Kilometer-long transmission, creative liberation
The transmission range can reach up to 1000 meters (with a high-gain antenna, the range can be extended). It covers the entire racetrack. The cameraman doesn't have to worry about the length of the cables and can freely choose the best shooting angle.
Zero mistakes in actual combat, with consistent and stable shooting throughout the process.
Throughout the entire day of intense mobile shooting operations, Thunder PRO-Duo successfully captured the exciting moments of the athletes leaping over obstacles and competing fiercely, ensuring the smooth progress of the live event broadcast.
Focusing on wireless transmission in complex scenarios, the Thunder Series continuously provides reliable wireless video transmission solutions for mobile filming scenarios such as sports events, outdoor reality shows, and large-scale outdoor activities.
